At Good Health Psychiatric Services P.C., we know first-hand the various benefits of psychiatric treatments for children and adolescents, especially during these trying times. Our Psychiatrists and nurse practitioners provide psychotherapy and medication management via telehealth and in-person visits for children 12 years and older experiencing behavioral, emotional, and mental health disorders.
Some of the conditions we treat are GAD, social anxiety disorder, panic attacks, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD, MDD, bipolar disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, ADHD, and conduct disorder, to list a few. We believe in open and collaborative communication with parents/caregivers throughout the child/adolescent diagnosis and treatment process.
Psychotherapy
At Good Health Psychiatric Services P.C., we utilize psychotherapy to assist in the healing of patients with psychiatric disorders. Our psychotherapy is grounded in dialogue, providing a supportive environment that allows our patients to speak freely in a neutral and non-judgmental space.
Our Psychotherapists work closely with patients to identify and manage behavior and thought patterns that hinder recovery. We pair our talk therapy sessions with comprehensive treatment plans and pharmacological modalities, prompting a better quality of life.

A neuropsychological evaluation is a test to measure how well a person’s brain is working. The abilities tested include reading, language usage, attention, learning, processing speed, reasoning, remembering, problem-solving, mood and personality and more. The Conners CPT 3 uses both standardised and raw scores to determine not only the respondent’s performance overall but also in four different aspects of attention: Inattentiveness, Impulsivity, Sustained Attention and Vigilance.
While Covid-19 has made telehealth a momentary necessity, the advantages of this course of treatment have become increasingly evident. Mental health practitioners have witnessed the tremendous comfort it brings patients in the moments when they need support most. We believe telehealth is a convenient feature in advancing the psychiatrist/patient bond in the early stages of the relationship.
In acknowledgment of this, Good Health Psychiatric Services P.C. commits to continue offering telehealth to new and returning patients. With the utilization of telehealth, our Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychotherapists can diagnose, provide psychotherapy, and prescribe medications without a patient ever needing to leave the comfort and safety of their home.
