Vsevolod Rudoy
I am a board-certified Psychiatrist and a member of The American Psychiatric Association, fluent in English and Russian. I pride myself on over 25 years of experience, extensive education, and providing my patients the very best care to meet their Psychiatric needs.
I completed my Psychiatry Residency at Metropolitan Hospital, where I diagnosed and treated within In-Patient, Out-Patient, Child/Adolescent, Detoxification, Emergency, and Consultation units. I worked at Interfaith Medical Center for over ten years, evaluating and conducting emergency management to suicidal, violent and/or psychotic patients. This allowed me to gain extensive experience utilizing psychotropic medications to treat severe psychiatric disorders., diagnosing, and managing common psychological problems encountered in medical and neurological patients, such as non-compliance, stress, and adjustment reactions to life-threatening illnesses. At Interfaith Medical Center, I gained extensive experience using psychotropic medications to treat even the most severe psychiatric disorders. I took part in a Mobile Crisis Response Team, providing professional, same-day intervention for patients experiencing mental health crises.
Ten years ago, I decided to take my expertise and vast knowledge and apply them to my practice; Good Health Psychiatric Services P.C.. I built this medical practice around a collaborative team effort to assist every patient better, specializing in treating psychiatric conditions, such as PTSD, Bi-Polar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I believe in working side-by-side with my patients; in doing this, I can tailor treatment plans and psychiatric medications that cater to each patient’s individual needs.
Mariya Shavulskiy
I am a board-certified adult and family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with a Bachelor’s degree from New York City College of Technology and a Master’s degree from CUNY Hunter College. I am a recipient of the Henry W. Wentz award for overall academic achievement and excellence in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. I am bilingual and therefore can service both English and Russian-speaking patients.
I have built my career around an uncompromising dedication to my patients, delivering safe, patient-centered, evidence-based care. Being respectful of my patient’s concerns, needs, and aspirations is what I strive for as a Nurse Practitioner. I take pride in my work and consider the aura of confidence and comfort my patients develop throughout their treatment as a personal achievement.
I evaluate and treat psychiatric disorders such as ADHD, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, and other psychotic disorders utilizing a unification of psychotropic medications and comprehensive, tailored treatment plans.
Okello Kabiite
Dr. Kabiite Mukisa Okello DNP, CNP, PMHNP- BC is a doctor-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 2 decades of experience working with different patient populations across the lifespan. Dr. Kabiite’s style of practice can be traditional; prescribing evidence-based psychiatric medications, or alternative natural treatments including but not limited to vitamins, supplements, therapy, diet modifications, exercises, and a healthy lifestyle. She believes in integral collaborative practice, recognizing all aspects of a person’s being, essential to wholeness, and a holistic approach where a healthy connection of the mind, body, and spirit is crucial for optimal life. Dr. Kabiite’s kind and detail-oriented approaches help better understand patients’ challenges hence developing a solution that is tailored to the patient’s needs. Every patient is unique, therefore Dr. Kabiite’s treatment approach is personalized, patient-centered, and individualized where every patient is heard and supported. Stacy M Humphreys
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Medical Registered Nurse. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from Cortland University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Malloy College, and a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner of Psychiatry from Stony Brook University. I have worked both as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and as a Pediatric Medical Nurse.
At Mather Hospital, I provided psychiatric and emotional guidance along with medicinal management to adolescent and adult patients in the partial hospitalization program and partial hospitalization eating disorder program. I was a travel Pediatric Medical RN for Aureus Medical Group at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, working with inpatient acute medical care pediatric patients. Furthermore, I worked for a private practice administering targeted anticipatory guidance for children, adolescents, and adults. Through this, I was able to assist children and adults in gaining knowledge and utilizing preventative awareness for a better quality of life.
I gained experience at Northern Westchester Hospital conducting Emergency Room psychiatric evaluations, providing consultations and medicinal management for children, adolescents, and adults. I have traveled the country, worked with people of all ages, cultures, and populations, learning so much from the diversity in patients.
Present-day, I specialize in psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar. I have adopted a comprehensive, patient-focused, and evidence-based treatment approach founded in interdisciplinary care. I believe in collaborating with each patient to provide tailored and individualized care. I utilize my years of experience and diversity to formulate a compassionate and personalized treatment plan, including psychotherapy and pharmacological modalities.
Natalie Rimar
I am a Board Certified Advanced Practitioner and Physician Assistant who specializing in providing care to those affected by a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I specialize in medication management of a wide range of psychiatric conditions primarily including, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Bipolar and other Mood Disorders, PTSD and substance use disorders. I offer medication management only when necessary, while recognizing that each individual is unique and requires an individual treatment plan for optimal mental health and wellness outcomes.
I tailor treatment to each individual by utilizing various diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. This includes genetic testing, psychological testing and a careful overview of one’s physical health.
John Flynn
I am a licensed board-certified clinical social worker in the state of New York with an Associates degree in Applied Science in Electronics and Computer Technology from DeVry College of New York, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Computer Information System from Baruch College, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Touro College. I completed my Social Work Internship at East New York Clubhouse and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and worked as a Medical Social Worker at North Shore University Hospital, Mt. Sinai Brooklyn, The Jewish Board, and Maimonides Medical Center.
I gained experience providing therapeutic services to adults with severe and persistent psychiatric disorders and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and discharge goals. I also provided individual psychotherapy along with social work services and crisis intervention counseling to inpatient adults. I provided crisis intervention counseling, completed psychosocial assessments, and practiced an assortment of modalities and interventions based on patients’ individual needs.
I currently specialize in trauma/post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety/panic disorders, health anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotional regulation issues, anger management, impulse control, and unhealthy dysfunctional behaviors like eating disorders, substance abuse, and more.
My approach to diagnosis and treatment is compassionate and comforting. I utilize personalized techniques to assist patients in applying and incorporating their learned coping and healing skills into their everyday lives. At the heart of my practice is cultivating a trusting and collaborative relationship leading each patient to an improved quality of life.
Zhanna Berman, PMHNP
Zhanna Berman (she/her) is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in both Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP-BC) and Advance Family Health ( FNP-BC). She has extensive experience in multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities and with many varieties of mental health issues affecting children, adolescents, and adults. These issues include mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, depression, ADHD, OCD, and bipolar disorders, as well as postpartum, perimenopausal, and menopausal issues in various manifestations.
Zhanna completed her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry at the State University in Albany, where she graduated summa cum laude. She obtained a Master of Nursing Degree in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, with honors. She holds national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Zhanna’s previous positions included serving as a Health Educator of infectious disease at Bergen County Health Services and working over seven years at a Bergen County school. She has also been employed as a Nurse Practitioner in the Stroke Center of St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, focusing on Neurological disease. She has further experience with Valley Hospital, where she served as a Hospitalist, as well as with other psychiatric facilities. She has additional experience as a nurse practitioner in other diverse settings, including ICU and Emergency Medicine. She holds certifications in Health Education, EKG, Arrhythmia Interpretation, and Advanced Life Support. She is licensed in the states of New York, New Jersey and Florida.
Zhanna is passionate about whole-body wellness and preventative care. She listens to and greatly values what the patient has to say. After all, the patient is the expert about themself. Simply put, she cares! She believes that this approach is key to a patient’s trust in her, to work together to get the patient the life that they want and deserve. Her education, previous positions and experience with diverse age groups, communities and varieties of diagnosis all translate into an excellent level of care.
Janice Mordi
I am an experienced and competent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Clinical Research, Addiction Medicine, Patient Safety, Infection Control, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR), I have a strong commitment to serving communities throughout New York City, and specifically populations that are vulnerable and underserved as a result of social determinants that include socio-economic status, prejudice, homelessness, poor access to resources, un-domiciled clients who frequently have complex behavioral and/or legal concerns or involvement.
My professional goal is to give each patient my focused attention, while prioritizing their own values, culture, and beliefs about treatment and I pride myself in delivering the most effective treatments available based on evidence based medicine and research. I aim to cultivate a culture of collaboration through horizontal means of communication with a well-trained, and professional interdisciplinary team, while incorporating all around wellness as part of comprehensive behavioral health treatment.
Christine Chollak
I am an adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and a member of many esteemed organizations, such as the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. I have published various Psychiatric Publications and gained years of research experience at New York University Langone Medical Center.
I believe in supportive and transparent communication, allowing my patients to feel heard and empowered. It is essential to personally provide thorough evaluations and collaborative treatment planning for every patient. This approach, paired with psychotherapy and pharmacologic modalities, allows me to implement specific and comprehensive care. I practice patient-focused and evidence-based therapy founded in interdisciplinary care.
I have years of experience diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders in in-patient, out-patient, community, and specialty settings, conducting medicine management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy. I believe this diverse groundwork is especially well-suited in helping patients achieve distinct health goals.
